Rules of use
Last updated: 6 August 2026
These rules sit alongside the Terms of use. Breaking them can lead to suspension without refund of the current billing period.
Allowed
- Researching local markets and building manual call lists for your own clients.
- Running website audits on publicly reachable business sites you intend to pitch.
- Generating call scripts / email drafts and editing them before send.
- Opt-in email campaigns to business addresses, with suppressions and unsubscribe honoured.
Not allowed
- Automatic calling, robodialers or SMS blasting through ApexPull.
- Collecting personal employee, director or household contact data as a product goal.
- Scraping or exporting the index to rebuild a competing dataset at scale.
- Circumventing CAPTCHAs, logins, paywalls or technical access controls.
- Using stolen credentials, session cookies or vulnerability exploits.
- Sending campaign email without a lawful basis or after a suppression hit.
- Reselling raw place dumps or sharing account credentials with unlimited seats.
Fair use
Plan limits (lead opens, audits, saved searches) are hard caps. Automated hammering of public meta/markets endpoints or attempting to evade metering may throttle or suspend the account.
Reporting abuse
Businesses that want removal or suppression can contact us via Feedback / the published abuse address. We maintain domain-level opt-outs for crawls where applicable.
